During the launch of the flagship OSSSO boutique, I held a key support role that connected product development to the final in-store customer experience. My primary responsibility was collaborating with the US design team to execute the store’s visual merchandising and setup.
My hands-on contribution was strengthened by my deep involvement in the product lifecycle:
Visual Merchandising & Local Procurement: Acted as the crucial link between the US design team’s vision and local execution. My role involved both hands-on setup and strategic sourcing to bring the boutique’s high-end identity to life.
Sourcing & Procurement: Researched, located, and procured specific, high-quality decorative items throughout Vietnam based on the US team’s precise specifications. Key items included a signature plant for the entrance, specific styles of decorative seating, a central chandelier, and other unique materials.
Creative Problem-Solving: Proactively identified local solutions and alternative materials when specific items were unavailable, ensuring the final store aesthetic was achieved without compromise.
Product Development: Conducted R&D for new personalized gifts and hampers, giving me foundational knowledge of the product stories.
Operations Support: Aided in controlling product quality, procurement, and assisted with studio product photography.
This integrated experience allowed me to ensure brand consistency from initial concept to the final point of sale, contributing directly to a successful and cohesive store launch.
