As the sole designer at PRO Vietnam, one of my most significant roles has been to lead the design and production of the PRO VN Newsletter. Published four times a year, this digital newsletter is far more than a simple publication _ it’s a strategic tool designed to inspire action and foster meaningful connections with our audience.
In this role, I’ve had the opportunity to bring PRO Vietnam’s vision to life by not only designing and delivering our annual and quarterly business reports in a visually engaging format but also shaping the creative direction for our corporate events, which has greatly enhanced our brand awareness and credibility. A key part of my work also involves amplifying the company’s core mission of sustainability, promoting business-led recycling initiatives as a vital driver for environmental protection here in Vietnam.
My first few issues were a bit of a challenge. I had to learn to fully embrace the “Green, Clean, and Beautiful” style of PRO Vietnam. The goal was to create quarterly reports that looked deceptively simple but incredibly professional and easy for readers to digest. The information needed to flow logically, allowing the audience to quickly grasp key insights without feeling overwhelmed. It was a balancing act-professionalism without being monotonous, clarity without being cold. Each issue became a new opportunity to refine this unique aesthetic, ensuring that the design truly reflected our mission and resonated with our community.
Beyond its aesthetic and informative value, the newsletter serves as a crucial bridge, connecting businesses, government, and citizens who care about environmental protection at a macro level in Vietnam. It’s not just a report _ it’s a dialogue, a tool that helps align the efforts of all these stakeholders toward a common goal of a more sustainable future.
